HireLogic is an interview intelligence platform that covers three kinds of interview: it joins Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Google Meet when you invite it by email, listens to phone calls through a number you conference in, and records in-person interviews through a companion app; it flags potentially discriminatory questions, builds interview guides from intake calls, and delivers insights to your ATS, with no published prices as of October 2026. Interview Signal is a desktop app that captures the call on the interviewer's own computer with nothing added to the meeting, guides the interview from the job description, and writes a quote-checked scorecard and client submittal, at published prices but with no ATS integration. Choose HireLogic if you interview across phone, video and in person and want insights flowing to an ATS; choose Interview Signal if you want no participant in the call and a write-up you can check line by line.
We make Interview Signal. Every fact about HireLogic below comes from HireLogic's own site, checked in October 2026 and linked. For more options, see HireLogic alternatives.

Does HireLogic join the call as a bot?
On video, HireLogic joins the meeting. Its homepage says: "Invite HireLogic via email to Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Google Meet. We will automatically join." That is simple to set up and works without anyone installing software, but it adds a participant to the call, and in a meeting a client or hiring manager hosts, someone may have to admit it.
Interview Signal never joins the call. It runs on Windows 10/11 or macOS 13 or newer, labels the microphone as the interviewer and the meeting's sound as the candidate, and the person running the interview has to have it open. It cannot attend a meeting for someone else, which HireLogic's invite model can.
Which one handles phone screens and in-person interviews?
HireLogic is more flexible here, and it is worth saying plainly. Its homepage says to "Conference in the HireLogic phone number to listen to your call." Because that is a dial-in number rather than the computer's audio, the call does not have to run through a computer at all. For in-person interviews, you "Open the HireLogic companion app on any device to start listening."
Interview Signal captures a phone screen only when the call runs through the computer's audio, such as a softphone. It has no mobile app and does not list in-person interviews as a use case. If your recruiters screen from their mobiles, HireLogic covers a case Interview Signal does not; our guide to recording a phone screen covers the computer-based setups.
What do you get before, during and after the interview?
HireLogic covers more of the funnel. Its Why HireLogic page lists Instant Interview Insights, an Interview Chatbot for questions about past interviews, Intake Call Analysis that will "Generate job descriptions and interview guides from intake calls", Recruiting Team Analytics, an Interview Companion App offering guidance and a smart assistant, Smart Resume Analysis, and Automated AI Interviews run by an AI agent. Its homepage adds summaries in short, medium or long versions, and a check that flags "potential compliance issues in areas of discriminatory or personal questions." Its staffing page mentions "qualitative scoring" for clients.
Interview Signal does less, more specifically. During the call it builds a question guide from the job description, pins must-ask questions until you ask them, suggests follow-ups with a reason (probe, clarify or evidence), fills the scorecard as you go and scores on demand with Evaluate, with an optional second model (Dual AI). A private answer check flags candidate answers that read as AI-written or read aloud, offers a question to try, and never changes a score or reaches the submittal. Afterward, each score carries the candidate's own quotes, checked against the transcript; a quote that is not in the transcript is removed. That is the evidence-based feedback approach, and the client submittal follows your agency's template. We did not find a quote check or a submittal template described on HireLogic's pages.
Where does the interview data go?
HireLogic describes a careful approach. Its Why HireLogic page says it "follows a conservative approach to data retention, minimizing the storage of audio or video recordings, offering zero-transcript notes, automatically redacting personal data (PII), and offering custom data retention policies," and supports single sign-on through Okta and Active Directory. Those are strong points for an enterprise security review.
Interview Signal takes a different route: transcripts, quotes, candidate names, notes and submittals stay on the recruiter's computer. Audio goes to a speech-to-text provider in short chunks during the call and is not retained, and our server keeps only counts and durations (security details). On a panel, interviewers share which questions were asked and the scores, never transcripts.
Which one connects to your ATS?
HireLogic says it has "integrated with a wide variety of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Telephony Providers, Video Conference Platforms, and Directory Services," and offers a "zero login" option where insights "flow directly into your ATS." It does not name the systems on the pages we checked, so ask for the list before you assume yours is on it.
Interview Signal has no ATS integration. It exports by copy, Markdown, Word, a CSV row, email or Slack, and shapes notes for Bullhorn, Greenhouse, Lever or JobAdder for you to paste. If ATS delivery is a must, HireLogic has the advantage, subject to your system being supported.
How much does each one cost?
HireLogic publishes no prices on its site as of October 2026; the homepage offers "Sign up for free" and "Schedule Demo." Interview Signal's prices are on our pricing page. Totals are our arithmetic.
| Situation | HireLogic | Interview Signal |
|---|---|---|
| Trying it | Free sign-up; limits not published | 20 minutes free, no card |
| One recruiter | Not published | Solo $49/mo or $468/yr |
| Team of three, billed yearly | Quote required | 3 × $49 × 12 = $1,764 |
| A few interviews, no subscription | Not published | 5 hours for $29, never expiring |
We only use a vendor's own figures, so ask HireLogic for a quote at your seat count before comparing totals. If a number matters for this quarter's budget, Interview Signal can give you one today.

What should you ask before you decide?
1. HireLogic: which ATS systems are supported today, by name?
2. HireLogic: what does it cost for our seat count and volume?
3. Run one video interview hosted by a client. How is the
HireLogic participant admitted?

Questions people ask
How is HireLogic different from Interview Signal?
HireLogic is an interview intelligence platform you invite into the interview: it joins Zoom, Teams or Google Meet when invited by email, listens to phone calls through a number you conference in, and records in-person interviews through a companion app, as of October 2026. Interview Signal is a desktop app that captures calls on the interviewer's own computer with no participant added, and adds a live question guide, a quote-checked scorecard and a client submittal.
Can HireLogic record a phone screen that is not on a computer?
HireLogic's homepage says you conference in the HireLogic phone number to listen to your call, so the call does not need to run through a computer, as of October 2026. Interview Signal can only capture a phone screen that runs through the computer's audio, so for calls on a handset HireLogic is the more flexible option.
How much does HireLogic cost?
HireLogic does not publish prices on its own site as of October 2026; it offers a free sign-up and a demo. Interview Signal publishes its prices: 20 free minutes, hour packs from $9 that never expire, Solo at $49 a month and Team at $49 a seat a month billed yearly with a three-seat minimum.
Does HireLogic flag illegal interview questions?
Yes. HireLogic's homepage describes detecting and flagging potential compliance issues in areas of discriminatory or personal questions. Interview Signal does not describe that feature; its private answer check looks at the candidate's answers instead, flagging ones that read as AI-written or read aloud without changing any score.
