TalentAdore's AI Notetaker is a feature of TalentAdore Hire, TalentAdore's applicant tracking system (ATS), not a separate note taker. It joins Microsoft Teams interviews only, as a guest you admit from the lobby (named "TA Hire" unless you rename it), records once admitted, and about two to three hours later puts a summary, a timestamped transcript and the video recording on the candidate's Application Card. As of October 2026 TalentAdore says the data stays on its EU servers and is not sent to third-party AI services for training, and TalentAdore Hire is priced on request. It suits European employers and agencies already running TalentAdore Hire and interviewing on Teams; it does nothing for Zoom, Google Meet, phone screens or another ATS.

Every fact below comes from talentadore.com and TalentAdore's help center, checked in October 2026 and linked. The main source is TalentAdore's AI Notetaker Guide, last updated July 9, 2026.

What is TalentAdore's AI Notetaker?

TalentAdore sells TalentAdore Hire, a full-cycle recruitment platform with screening, candidate communication, talent pools and analytics, and an AI assistant called Taika. The Taika page lists the AI Notetaker among Taika's features: it "automatically joins your online interviews, delivering full transcripts, intelligent summaries, and secure video recordings – all securely stored within the ATS."

TalentAdore's launch article, published November 14, 2025, makes the pitch plainly: rather than an external note-taking tool, a notetaker that runs inside the ATS, so candidate data stays in one GDPR-compliant system. That is the whole proposition. If your team does not use TalentAdore Hire, there is nothing here to buy on its own.

How does it join an interview?

As a bot on Teams, after some setup. From the AI Notetaker Guide:

  1. An admin turns it on under Settings, Company Settings, AI Assistant, picks which roles (for example Admin, Recruiter, Hiring Manager) can use it, and can rename it, add a background image and decide whether it is added to interviews by default.
  2. The interview must be an "Online interview" in TalentAdore Hire, and the candidate must have confirmed it.
  3. The invite needs a Teams link. With two-way calendar sync the link is created and the notetaker joins automatically; otherwise you paste a Microsoft Teams link into the invite yourself.
  4. It arrives early. The notetaker joins typically five to seven minutes before the start and waits in the lobby.
  5. You admit it. It starts recording only when you admit it as a guest participant, and you can deny it before the interview starts.

Admitting from the lobby fits how Teams treats bots anyway. Microsoft's admin documentation says the default policy detects external bots and holds them in the lobby until an organizer admits them. The candidate will see "TA Hire", or your chosen name, in the participant list, which is a clear sign that the call is being recorded. TalentAdore's launch article suggests branding it with your company name so candidates recognize it.

What do you get after the interview?

Once processing finishes, the guide says three things appear on the candidate's Application Card:

  • Summary tab: key takeaways, strengths, areas of improvement and next steps.
  • Transcript tab: the full word-for-word conversation with timestamps.
  • Video recording of the interview, for users with "AI Notetaker assets" access switched on.

You can steer what the summary focuses on by adding interview goals in the configuration, and the guide lists a chat tab for asking AI about the applicant as coming "in the future". Two practical limits follow from the guide's troubleshooting section: processing "usually takes 2-3 hours after the meeting ends," and poor audio or background noise degrades the transcript and summary.

The notes stay where the rest of the hiring record already lives, which is the real advantage. A hiring manager reviewing a candidate sees the application, the evaluations and the interview in one card, with no export or paste step. What the notetaker does not do, on TalentAdore's pages, is score the candidate, draft a scorecard or write a client submittal; TalentAdore Hire's separate AI features summarize notepads and turn evaluations into candidate feedback, according to the Taika page.

Why Teams only, and what does that mean for your interviews?

The guide is blunt: "AI Notetaker works only with Microsoft Teams meetings," and a Zoom or Google Meet link "will not work." For a team standardized on Teams, that is no loss. For anyone else it rules out:

  • interviews a client or hiring manager hosts on Zoom or Google Meet;
  • phone screens, which TalentAdore's pages do not mention for the notetaker; see how to record a phone screen;
  • in-person interviews, also not described;
  • interviews scheduled before the notetaker was switched on, which the guide says it will not join.

If Teams is your only platform but you would rather not send a bot at all, compare the options in AI note takers for Teams interviews.

TalentAdore says the notetaker "is built directly into TalentAdore Hire's infrastructure," that "your data never leaves our platform," and that it does not send recordings or transcripts to third-party AI services for training. Its GDPR and EU AI Act page says TalentAdore Hire is ISO 27001 certified and stores data on its EU servers, "also for AI features." Because the video, transcript and summary sit with the candidate record, a candidate's access or deletion request is handled in one register rather than across Teams, Word files and a separate tool.

Two decisions remain yours. First, notice: the bot in the participant list is visible, but tell candidates in the invite that the interview will be recorded and transcribed, and offer an alternative. The guide's own tip is that if a candidate prefers not to be recorded, you disable the notetaker when scheduling. Second, retention: the notetaker keeps video, which is more personal data than notes. Set how long interview recordings are kept and who can see them; our GDPR checklist for recruiters covers lawful basis, notice and retention, and how long to keep interview notes covers the schedule.

How much does it cost?

TalentAdore does not publish prices. Its features page FAQ says TalentAdore Hire "is priced on request," and that it offers TalentAdore Hire "for one recruitment for free" as a trial. We found no separate price for the AI Notetaker. TalentAdore's integrations page also says every integration carries an additional fee, which matters if you plan to connect an HR system or job boards. Ask for the notetaker's cost, any limit on recorded interviews, and how long recordings are retained, in the same quote.

Where does it stop for recruiting?

  • Only inside TalentAdore Hire. It is not sold for Greenhouse, Bullhorn or any other ATS.
  • Only on Microsoft Teams. No Zoom, Google Meet, phone or in-person capture is described.
  • Notes arrive hours later. Two to three hours of processing rules out a debrief straight after the call.
  • A summary, not an evaluation. No scorecard, ratings or client submittal from the notetaker itself.
  • No help during the interview. The notetaker records; it does not prompt questions or follow-ups.
  • No public price. You need a quote to compare it with anything.

Who should choose TalentAdore's AI Notetaker?

A good fit if:

  • You already run TalentAdore Hire, or are choosing an ATS and want interview notes built in.
  • Your interviews are on Microsoft Teams and you schedule them from the ATS.
  • EU data storage and a single record per candidate matter more to you than speed.
  • You want the video kept with the candidate for hiring managers who missed the call.

Look elsewhere if:

  • Your ATS is anything other than TalentAdore Hire.
  • Clients or candidates choose the meeting platform, or you screen by phone.
  • You need notes or a scorecard minutes after the call, not hours.

We make Interview Signal, one alternative for recruiters outside TalentAdore Hire or off Teams: a Windows and macOS desktop app with no bot that captures Zoom, Teams, Meet and phone screens run through the computer, guides the interview and drafts a scorecard and submittal right after the call, though it has no ATS integration and does not record video. Everything about TalentAdore on this page comes from TalentAdore's own site and help center, linked and dated.

Questions people ask

Does TalentAdore's AI Notetaker work with Zoom or Google Meet?

No. As of October 2026 TalentAdore's help center says the AI Notetaker works only with Microsoft Teams meetings and that Zoom or Google Meet links will not work. It joins the Teams interview as a guest participant that you admit from the lobby.

Can I use TalentAdore's AI Notetaker with another ATS?

Not as far as TalentAdore's pages show. As of October 2026 the AI Notetaker is described as a native feature of TalentAdore Hire, TalentAdore's own applicant tracking system, and the recording, summary and transcript land on the candidate's Application Card there. We found no standalone version sold for other systems.

How long does TalentAdore take to produce interview notes?

TalentAdore's troubleshooting guide says processing of recordings, transcriptions and summaries usually takes two to three hours after the meeting ends, as of October 2026. Plan debriefs and client updates for later the same day rather than straight after the call.

Where does TalentAdore store interview recordings?

Inside TalentAdore Hire. TalentAdore says the notetaker is built into its own infrastructure, that it does not send recordings or transcripts to third-party AI services for training, and that data is stored on its EU servers, as of October 2026. The video, transcript and summary are kept together on the candidate's Application Card.
