HireLogic is an interview intelligence tool that covers all three places interviews happen: it joins Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Meet when you invite it by email, listens to phone calls when you conference in its number, and records in-person interviews through a companion app. As of October 2026 it turns each conversation into summaries, a match against the job description, strengths and concerns, and flags for potentially discriminatory or personal questions, and it says it does not keep audio or video from interviews. It suits HR teams and staffing or RPO firms with a real mix of interview types; it publishes no prices and does not name its ATS integrations.

Every fact below comes from HireLogic's own site, checked in October 2026 and linked. For other options sorted by interview type, see HireLogic alternatives; for head-to-heads, see Metaview vs HireLogic and BrightHire vs HireLogic.

How does HireLogic capture interviews?

HireLogic's homepage gives one method per interview type, in its own words:

  • Phone call: "Conference in the HireLogic phone number to listen to your call."
  • Video conference: "Invite HireLogic via email to Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Google Meet. We will automatically join."
  • In-person interview: "Open the HireLogic companion app on any device to start listening."

The Why HireLogic page says it retrieves the audio stream from any telephony, video or in-person conversation, transcribes it with speech-to-text services it evaluates continuously, separates speakers, works out which speaker is the candidate and which is the interviewer, and filters out the small talk at the start of a call. It auto-detects more than 20 languages and can give insights in the local language.

The practical reading: HireLogic's methods are simple to explain, and covering in-room interviews is less common than it should be. The costs are a visible participant on every video call, which someone must admit if the meeting has a lobby, and a merge-the-call step on every phone screen. A conference-in step is easiest to forget when a recruiter is rushing between calls, so test on a busy day. Our guide to recording a phone screen compares dial-in with the alternatives.

What does HireLogic produce after an interview?

HireLogic's instant interview insights page and homepage list the outputs, as of October 2026:

OutputWhat HireLogic says it shows
Dynamic interview summaryShort, medium or long versions, filterable by areas such as aspiration, leadership or problem solving
Match to job descriptionHow much of the discussion matched the skills, job functions, titles and industry in the job description
Potential strengths and concernsExtracted points you can edit, delete or add to before sharing
Question and answer summariesThe questions asked, with summaries of the candidate's answers
Potential compliance issuesFlags for discriminatory or personal questions, framed for coaching
Topics and keywordsTopic summary, highlighted topic mentions and a keyword cloud for the whole call or the candidate only
Quantitative experience and action itemsKPIs and accomplishments mentioned, plus follow-ups
TranscriptA detailed transcript with topics highlighted, for video, phone and in-person interviews

Results go to email, your ATS or HCM system, or HireLogic itself, according to the Why page. The job description match is the distinctive piece: it answers "did we actually cover the role?" rather than only "what was said?" It is worth remembering that coverage is a measure of the conversation, not of the candidate. A low match can mean the interviewer went off script, so read it alongside a structured scorecard rather than in place of one.

What else does HireLogic do?

HireLogic sells more than notes. Its feature pages describe, as of October 2026:

  • Intake call analysis. From a recorded intake call, a job description and responsibilities, top skills, a "day in the life" description, KPIs and suggested interview questions (intake call insights).
  • Interview companion app. Generate interview questions and save them as guide templates, capture ratings or responses per question, roll ratings up across candidates and interviewers, and compare two or more candidates (companion app).
  • Interview chatbot. Ask questions about candidates across past interviews and get answers in paragraph or bullet form (chatbot).
  • Recruiting team analytics. Activity trends, whether transcripts, ratings and dispositions are being captured, per-interviewer metrics such as interview duration, and a summary of potential non-compliance across EEOC categories (team analytics).
  • Smart résumé analysis. Drag in résumés or import them from your ATS and prioritize applicants by job fit across functions, skills and industry (résumé analysis).
  • Automated AI interviews. An AI agent interviews candidates by video, mixing your fixed questions with AI follow-ups, and scores answers for relevance and depth of knowledge (AI interviews).

The last two score or rank candidates, which is a different category of risk from note-taking. In New York City, Local Law 144 requires a bias audit within the past year, a public summary and candidate notice before an employer or agency uses an automated employment decision tool, according to the city's Department of Consumer and Worker Protection (checked October 2026). Ask HireLogic what audit documentation it provides. This is not legal advice.

How does HireLogic handle data and security?

The Why HireLogic page makes strong privacy claims, as of October 2026:

  • It does not persist audio or video from interviews, "preferring the lowest footprint option."
  • It offers zero-transcript notes, automatic redaction of personal data such as Social Security and card numbers, and custom retention policies.
  • Data, including candidate information, is encrypted in transit and at rest, on what it calls SOC-certified cloud infrastructure.
  • Single sign-on works with Okta and Active Directory over SAML and OIDC, and a "zero login" option sends insights straight to the ATS.
  • It says it participates in developing responsible AI standards such as ISO/IEC 42001.

Two points to clarify. First, "SOC-certified cloud infrastructure" describes the hosting provider, which is not the same as HireLogic holding its own SOC 2 report; ask for whatever report it has. Second, the AI interview page describes capturing video and audio responses "for easy playback," so the no-recording rule may apply to live interview capture only. Our list of security questions for AI note takers covers the rest.

Which ATS does HireLogic connect to, and what does it cost?

HireLogic says it has integrated with "a wide variety of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Telephony Providers, Video Conference Platforms, and Directory Services" and that insights can flow directly into your ATS, but the pages we checked do not name the systems. Ask for the list by name, and for a demo that writes to a test record in your ATS.

On price, HireLogic's homepage offers "Sign up for free" and "Try it now for free," but no plan or price is published as of October 2026, and hirelogic.com/pricing returned a not-found page when we checked. Get the quote in writing for your real number of recruiters and hiring managers, including which features (AI interviews, analytics, SSO, custom retention) are in the plan you would buy.

HireLogic pros and cons

Pros

  • One product for phone, video and in-person interviews, each with a documented method.
  • Job description match and question coverage, useful for consistency across interviewers.
  • Compliance flags and EEOC-category analytics for coaching interviewers.
  • Strong privacy posture on paper: no stored audio or video from interviews, PII redaction, zero-transcript notes.
  • A free sign-up you can try before talking to sales.

Cons

  • A participant joins every video call, and phone screens need a conference-in step.
  • No published price and no named ATS integrations.
  • Compliance flags arrive after the question was asked; they do not prevent it.
  • The scoring features (résumé prioritization, AI interviews) bring AI-law obligations.
  • No client submittal in an agency's own format described, despite its staffing positioning.

Who should choose HireLogic?

HireLogic fits an HR team or a staffing or RPO firm whose interviews genuinely split across phone, video and in-room conversations, that wants to see whether interviewers covered the job, and that values a vendor which does not keep interview recordings. Its staffing page also pitches sharing interview insights and qualitative scoring with clients, which some agencies use as a differentiator.

Look elsewhere if nothing may join your video calls, you need a named integration with your ATS before the first demo, you need a price up front, or your output is a client submittal in your own format. For a platform that publishes prices and names over 100 ATS, see our Metaview review.

We make Interview Signal, a Windows and macOS app that captures audio on the interviewer's own computer, so nothing joins the call and phone screens taken through the computer need no dial-in; it has published prices and no ATS integration. Everything about HireLogic on this page comes from HireLogic's own site, linked and dated. Our comparison covers where HireLogic is the better fit, including in-person interviews.

How should you trial HireLogic?

HireLogic trial (one week, real interviews, candidates told)

1. One video interview someone else hosts. Was HireLogic admitted?
2. Three phone screens on [our phone setup]. How many times did the
recruiter forget to conference in the number?
3. One in-person interview with the companion app on a phone in
the room. Were both voices transcribed?
4. For each call: are pay, notice period and one project correct?
5. Read the job description match. Does it agree with what the
   interviewer thinks was covered?
6. Did any compliance flag fire? Was it a real issue?
7. Where did the insights land: email, HireLogic, our ATS?

Line 2 decides more trials than any feature list: a dial-in method that recruiters skip under pressure produces no notes at all.

Questions people ask

Is HireLogic free?

HireLogic offers a free sign-up on its homepage, but it does not publish prices as of October 2026, and the hirelogic.com/pricing address returned a not-found page when we checked. Ask HireLogic for a written quote before you plan beyond a trial.

Does HireLogic join interviews as a bot?

On video calls, yes. HireLogic's homepage says you invite it by email to Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Google Meet and it joins automatically. For phone calls you conference in the HireLogic phone number, and for in-person interviews you open its companion app on any device.

Can HireLogic record in-person interviews?

Yes. HireLogic says you open its companion app on any device in the room to start listening, and its companion app page describes transcripts and AI notes for in-person interviews and hiring events, plus interview guides and optional ratings for each question.

Does HireLogic keep audio or video recordings of interviews?

For interview capture, HireLogic's Why HireLogic page says it does not persist audio or video and converts the audio stream into a transcript, and that it offers zero-transcript notes, automatic redaction of personal data and custom retention policies. Its separate AI interview product describes capturing video and audio responses for playback, so ask which rule applies to which product.

Which ATS does HireLogic integrate with?

HireLogic says it integrates with a wide variety of applicant tracking systems and can send insights straight into your ATS, including a zero-login option, but it does not name the systems on the pages we checked in October 2026. Ask for the list in writing and a demo on your own ATS.
