The main Supernormal alternatives for recruiters are Metaview, Fireflies, Otter, Granola, Bluedot and Interview Signal. Recruiters are looking because Supernormal changed course in 2026: its help center says it retired its bot and Chrome extension on April 2, stopped audio and video recording and its Workable, HubSpot and Salesforce integrations on March 2, and now positions itself as "AI agents built for agencies," on credit-based plans from $20 a month. As of October 2026, Metaview and Fireflies list Workable, Bluedot and Fireflies offer video recording, and Interview Signal adds a live question guide and scorecard for interviews, with no ATS integration.
We make Interview Signal, one of the tools below; everything about the other products comes from their own sites, linked and dated. For Supernormal as it works today, read Supernormal for interviews or Interview Signal vs Supernormal.
What did Supernormal change, and what did recruiters lose?
Supernormal's help article How and why has Supernormal changed this past year? (April 2026) and its 2.0 plans article set out the changes. For a recruiting desk, five matter:
- The Workable integration is gone. It was among the native integrations retired on March 2, 2026.
- No recordings. Video and audio recording retired on March 2, with "no plans to reintroduce it in the near future."
- No bot. Capture is now the Mac or Windows desktop app only, and the Windows app needs Windows 11, per the notetaker page.
- Seven languages. English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Swedish and Portuguese.
- Credits instead of seats. The credits article says Supernormal does not give exact breakdowns of what a credit buys, so the cost of one interview is not published.
None of that makes Supernormal a bad product; it is now built for a different job. If you still use it, check our Workable note-taker guide for what Workable offers on its own.

Which alternative replaces what you lost?
If you need Workable or another ATS link
Metaview's integrations page lists Workable alongside Ashby, Bullhorn, Crelate, Greenhouse, JobAdder, Lever and Loxo, and Fireflies' integrations page lists Workable ("Keep Workable candidate profiles updated after interviews"), Loxo, Gem ATS and Breezy HR. Bluedot documents Ashby, and Otter's Recruiting Agent advertises notes sync with Greenhouse. Interview Signal has no ATS integration; it shapes notes for Bullhorn, Greenhouse, Lever or JobAdder for you to paste.
If you want recordings back
Bluedot's pricing page puts video on Pro ("Unlimited meetings (with video)") and Fireflies lists video recording on Pro, with a recording limit of 2 hours on Free and Pro, 3 on Business and 4 on Enterprise. Otter keeps audio recording playback on every plan. Interview Signal does not record video.
If you interview in other languages
Fireflies lists transcription in "100+ languages" and Bluedot "100+ languages," while Otter's pricing table names English, Spanish, French, German, Japanese and Chinese. If your interviews mix languages, test a real call on any of them before relying on it.
If you liked Supernormal's quiet desktop capture
Granola is the closest like-for-like: its home page says it "uses your computer audio, so doesn't invite a bot," on macOS, Windows, iOS and Android. Bluedot, Otter's desktop app, Fireflies' desktop app, Metaview's desktop app and Interview Signal all capture without a bot too.
If you want the candidate told automatically
Supernormal's April 2026 help article says notifying participants "is the responsibility of each user," and its home page says clients "never see a recording notice or bot participant." Several alternatives build a notice in. Fireflies' desktop page says "a Fireflies indicator will be present to let participants know when the notetaker is on." Bluedot can post a recording notice in the meeting chat, and a workspace owner can require it. Granola's pricing FAQ describes a feature that "sends an automated message at the start of each meeting to let others know you're using Granola." Interview Signal gives you a read-aloud consent line, notice text by jurisdiction and a one-click pause. A chat message is easy to miss, so say a line out loud as well.
Should you stay with Supernormal?
Possibly, if interviews are a small part of your week. Supernormal's agents draft emails, slides, documents and spreadsheets from your meetings, which suits a recruiter who also writes client proposals or job briefs from intake calls. Its Team plan shares one credit pool across unlimited seats, which can be cheap for a small team with light use. The case for switching is strongest if you depended on the Workable link, need recordings, interview in a language outside its seven, or run Windows 10.
One-line verdicts
- Metaview. Best for: teams that want notes posted into an ATS. Weak spot: $60 per user a month for Pro.
- Fireflies. Best for: Workable users and phone-heavy desks on a supported dialer. Weak spot: general meeting output, not interview structure. See Fireflies for recruiting.
- Otter. Best for: the lowest paid price and Greenhouse sync. Weak spot: Pro caps a conversation at 90 minutes.
- Granola. Best for: bot-free notes you shape by typing. Weak spot: no ATS and only 30 days of history on Basic.
- Bluedot. Best for: getting video recordings back without a bot. Weak spot: Basic stops each recording at one hour.
- Interview Signal. Best for: recruiters who want a question guide, a live scorecard and a client submittal. Weak spots: no ATS integration, desktop only with no mobile or web app, no video, few public reviews, and phone screens must run through the computer.

Our AI interview note-taker pricing guide works through costs at different interview volumes.
Before you move: take your Supernormal notes with you
Supernormal's security page says your data is yours to "restrict it, delete it, or have it exported at any time." Before you switch, decide which interview notes your records policy says to keep, export those, and delete the rest rather than leaving candidate data in a tool you no longer use. Our guide to where AI note takers store interview data has questions to ask the new vendor.
How do you test a replacement?
1. Run one real interview longer than 60 minutes.
2. Run one phone screen on the dialer you actually use.
3. Check what reaches Workable or your ATS, field by field.
4. Test a bot-free mode on a client-hosted call.
5. Read the quotes in the output against the transcript.
Whichever tool you choose, give candidates notice; our consent script has wording. This is general information, not legal advice. More bot-free options are compared in AI note takers without a bot.
Questions people ask
What happened to Supernormal's Workable integration?
Supernormal's help center says it stopped supporting its native Workable integration on March 2, 2026, along with HubSpot, Salesforce, Zapier, Asana and others. As of October 2026, Metaview and Fireflies both list Workable on their integrations pages, so recruiters who relied on that link can look there first.
Which Supernormal alternative still offers a meeting bot?
Supernormal retired its bot, Norma, on April 2, 2026. As of October 2026, Fireflies, Otter and Metaview join calls with a bot by default, and Bluedot offers an optional bot that has to be admitted. Each of them also has a way to record without a bot.
Which Supernormal alternative records video of interviews?
Supernormal stopped audio and video recording on March 2, 2026. Bluedot includes video recording on its Pro plan and Fireflies lists video recording on its Pro plan, as of October 2026. Interview Signal does not record video; it keeps a transcript and the candidate's quotes instead.
Is there a Supernormal alternative that runs on Windows 10?
Yes. Supernormal's Windows app needs Windows 11, but as of October 2026 Fireflies' desktop app lists Windows 10 or later, Bluedot's Windows app lists Windows 10 and later, and Interview Signal runs on Windows 10 or 11. Browser-based capture, such as Bluedot's or Fireflies' Chrome extension, avoids the question entirely.
