Avionté has added AI to the interview, but not to the audio. Its AI-powered interview summaries are generated from the notes a recruiter types during the interview, with no recording involved, according to Avionté's support center (updated September 23, 2026). To capture what the candidate actually said, Avionté customers rely on partners: phone systems such as Ringover and CallMantra that sync AI transcripts and summaries into AviontéBOLD, and notetakers such as Metaview and Carv that list Avionté among their integrations.

This page covers what the native summary does, which partners capture calls and what they write into BOLD, the published costs, and the checks to run before a desk relies on any of it. Every vendor fact links to the page we checked.

What Avionté does natively

  • AI Interview Scripts: Avionté's Interview Scripts article describes scripts that guide the recruiter through an interview.
  • AI interview summaries from typed notes: the same article describes summaries generated from what the recruiter types during the interview. No audio is captured. Summaries are in English only, stored on the Talent Profile under Interviews, and internal only.
  • PIXEL: Avionté's SMS chatbot, a paid upgrade, handles text conversations with candidates. It is not a call notetaker.

The typed-note summary is useful, but its quality is capped by the typing. A recruiter who writes "good comms, wants 25/hr, can start Monday" gets a tidy version of exactly that. A notetaker that hears the call can quote the candidate; a summary of typed notes cannot.

Other certified Avionté partners include SourceWhale and Skillframe, and AI interviewers such as Alex, HeyMilo and Classet connect too. Those run interviews or outreach rather than taking notes on yours. We did not find BrightHire, Fireflies, Otter or Tactiq documenting an Avionté integration.

The phone-call gap, and why phone partners lead here

Avionté is built for staffing firms, and staffing desks do much of their screening on the phone. That is why the phone systems are the stronger route on Avionté: a recruiter dials through Ringover or CallMantra, and the transcript and summary arrive in BOLD without anyone joining a video call. The trade-off is that the recruiter must call through that system. Calls from a personal mobile, or through a different dialer, are not captured. Our guide to recording a phone screen covers other approaches.

Notetakers like Carv and Metaview suit video interviews and client-hosted rounds. A desk that does both will likely end up with one of each, so decide which tool writes which kind of note and make it visible in the note itself.

Cost per recruiter, as an example

An illustrative example built from published prices as of October 2026, not a quote. A ten-recruiter desk adding call transcripts and summaries to BOLD:

Ringover Business + Empower:
  ($47 + $39) × 10 = $860/month (Business billed annually)

CallMantra Premier (annual):
  $79.95 × 10 = $799.50/month (3-license minimum)

Metaview Pro (video interviews):
  $60 × 10 = $600/month; Free tier: 25 calls/user/month

Ringover and CallMantra are calling platforms, so part of their price may replace a dialer you already pay for. Check what each plan includes and compare against your current calling cost, not against zero.

Typed notes versus captured calls

For low-stakes, high-volume shifts the typed-note summary may be enough. For roles where a client challenges a submittal or a placement goes wrong, a transcript of what was said is worth far more.

Getting more from the native summary

If you are not ready to add a partner, you can still raise the quality of what Avionté's AI summarizes, because the summary can only be as good as the typed input. A few habits help:

  • Type short quotes, not judgments. "Ran a forklift 3 years at a cold-storage DC" gives the summary something real; "good forklift exp" does not.
  • Follow the interview script's order. When notes follow the same questions every time, summaries become comparable across candidates and recruiters.
  • Separate facts from opinions. Put the recruiter's view on its own line at the end, so the summary does not blend it into what the candidate said.
  • Confirm numbers aloud. Repeat pay rate, shift and start date back to the candidate before typing them. It catches mishearing at the source.
  • Remember the limits. Summaries are English only and internal only, so plan separately for non-English interviews and anything that needs to go to a client.

Questions to ask a partner before signing

  • Which AviontéBOLD fields or tabs does your integration write to, and can it overwrite anything a recruiter typed?
  • What happens when a call comes from a number that matches two Talent records?
  • Is transcription included in the plan we are quoting, or a separate add-on?
  • Where are recordings stored, and for how long by default?

The capture line tells the next recruiter whether quotes came from a transcript or from typed notes. Our screen-to-submittal workflow covers the step after.

Standalone tools, and who each option suits

Interview Signal has no Avionté integration. It is a desktop app with no bot that captures audio on the recruiter's own computer, keeps transcripts local, and produces a scorecard and submittal quoting the candidate that you paste into BOLD. If you want transcripts written into BOLD automatically, use one of the partners above.

  • Avionté typed-note summaries: high-volume desks happy with tidy versions of recruiter notes.
  • Ringover or CallMantra: phone-first desks willing to dial through one system.
  • Carv or Metaview: desks with many video interviews; confirm what syncs in a trial.
  • A standalone tool: recruiters who want quoted notes without changing their phone system.

Questions people ask

Does Avionté have its own AI notetaker?

Not one that listens to the call. As of October 2026 Avionté's support center describes AI Interview Scripts and AI-powered interview summaries generated from the notes a recruiter types during the interview, with no audio captured. Summaries are in English, stored on the Talent Profile under Interviews, and are internal only.

Which phone systems write call transcripts into AviontéBOLD?

Ringover's Avionté integration logs calls, texts and recordings, and its Empower add-on syncs AI transcripts and call summaries to BOLD. CallMantra, listed as certified, offers call recording and an AI notetaker with ATS sync on its Premier plan. Both were confirmed on the vendors' pages in October 2026.

How much do Avionté phone integrations cost?

As published in October 2026, Ringover's Business plan is $47 a user a month billed annually, with the Empower add-on at $39 a license a month. CallMantra's Premier plan, which includes the AI notetaker with ATS sync, is $99.95 a month or $79.95 billed annually, with a three-license minimum.

Do Metaview or Carv work with Avionté?

Both list Avionté on their integrations pages. Carv's page says records update the moment a call or meeting ends. We could not confirm from public pages exactly which AviontéBOLD fields each one writes, so check that in a trial.
