Beamery is a talent CRM, not the system where most interviews are scored, and it has no AI notetaker of its own. As of October 2026 Beamery's partner list includes no note taker and we found no note taker that lists Beamery. The workable setup is a note taker that integrates with the ATS behind Beamery (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Greenhouse and others) for interview feedback, plus a short summary pasted into Beamery Notes for screening and nurture calls.
This page explains what Beamery is and where interviews happen around it, what Beamery's AI does and does not do, the integrations we checked, how to add notes by hand with the right labels and privacy settings, and a note format built for rediscovering candidates later. Facts link to the vendor pages we read, dated October 2026. For the difference between the two kinds of system, see our ATS vs CRM guide; for other enterprise platforms with a CRM side, see our Avature and Phenom pages.
What is Beamery, and where do interviews happen around it?
Beamery describes itself as an AI platform for workforce transformation: a talent CRM, sourcing and matching, talent marketing, career sites and events, workforce intelligence, and an agentic advisor called Ray. Its case studies are large employers such as Salesforce, Hilti and Wells Fargo. It does not publish prices.
Beamery's partner page says it has certified integrations with Workday Recruiting and SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting, and bidirectional candidate and vacancy sync with Greenhouse, Jobvite, SmartRecruiters, Oracle Taleo, Infinite BrassRing and ADP. In those setups the interview loop, the scorecard and the hiring decision usually live in the ATS, while Beamery holds the long-term relationship: talent pools, silver medalists, campaigns and notes from sourcing and screening calls.
Does Beamery's own AI record or summarize calls?
No. Beamery's help article Understanding Artificial Intelligence in Beamery (updated October 8, 2026) lists:
- Machine learning: vacancy calibration and suggested skills, skills-enhanced search, and a Talent Match Score against a vacancy.
- Generative AI: skills intelligence and job architecture, labor market insights, recipe search, and Smart Outreach for drafting messages in the Beamery Extension.
- Agentic AI: Ray for Sourcing in beta, with scheduling interview times and summarizing contacts named only as possible future tasks.
For scheduling, Beamery's Meeting Scheduler now runs on Cronofy and offers Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, a phone call or a custom link (which Beamery suggests for Zoom). It books the meeting; it does not record it.
Which AI note takers list Beamery?
| Where we looked | What it shows, as of October 2026 |
|---|---|
| Beamery's partner page | ATS, sourcing (HireEZ, SeekOut, Entelo, Drafted, LinkedIn CRM Connect), chatbot and services partners, plus GoodTime for interview scheduling. No note taker. |
| Metaview (help center and integrations directory) | No Beamery guide or page. |
| BrightHire's integrations page | Beamery not listed; Workday, Greenhouse, SAP SuccessFactors, SmartRecruiters, Jobvite and Oracle Taleo are. |
| CoRecruit, Employ's AI Interview Companion, Fireflies | Beamery not listed. |
So which integration actually matters?
The one with your ATS. If interview feedback is entered in Workday, SAP SuccessFactors or Greenhouse, a note taker that writes into that system puts evidence where the hiring decision is made, and Beamery picks up stage changes through its own ATS sync. Our guides cover each: Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Greenhouse, SmartRecruiters and Jobvite. What is left for Beamery is the conversation before and around the formal process: a sourcing call, a screening call with someone not yet applied, a catch-up with a silver medalist. Those notes you add by hand.
How do you add call notes to Beamery by hand?
From Beamery's articles on Notes in the Smart Profile and note privacy, both updated October 26, 2026:
- Open the Smart Profile and add a note in the Notes or Overview tab. Beamery says Notes is where you capture screening or interview information for each candidate. Users still on the legacy profile do not see the new Notes.
- Label it. If the call was about a vacancy or a pool, specify it so the note carries that label.
- Tag it. Beamery's own example is an activity tag of "Call" with "Screening" as the note type. Agree a short tag list so reports mean something.
- Set visibility. Notes are public to users who can see the contact unless you make them confidential to selected users. Super Admins can read all notes, including confidential ones, and only a note's creator can edit or delete it.
- From outside Beamery, Beamery's privacy article also describes logging a note from the Beamery Extension, using Log Activity on its Related tab.
Our guide to AI notes without an integration covers the general method for any system.
How do the realistic options compare?
We make Interview Signal, one of the tools below; everything about the other products comes from their own sites, linked and dated. As of October 2026.
| Option | How it captures the call | Bot or no bot | Phone screens | Beamery link | Published price | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Beamery Notes, typed | No capture; you type or paste | Not applicable | Not applicable | Native | Not published | Short sourcing and nurture notes |
| Metaview | Notetaker joins video calls, or a Mac and Windows desktop app | Bot, or no bot with the desktop app | Yes, through its phone feature (guide) | None; integrates with the ATS behind Beamery (for example Workday, Greenhouse) | Free 25 calls a month; Pro $60 per user a month (pricing) | Teams whose ATS it supports, pasting a summary into Beamery |
| BrightHire | Records video, phone or in-person interviews, per its plans page | Not stated on its plans page | Yes, per its plans page | None; lists Workday, Greenhouse, SAP SuccessFactors and others | Not published | Enterprise interview loops scored in the ATS |
| Interview Signal | Desktop app on the interviewer's Windows or Mac computer | No bot | Yes, when the call runs through the computer | None; you paste | Free 20 minutes; 5 hours $29; Solo $49 a month | Individual recruiters who want a quote-backed summary per call to paste into Notes |
Interview Signal has no Beamery or ATS integration: you copy or export the scorecard and paste it, and its ready-made note formats are for Bullhorn, Greenhouse, Lever and JobAdder only. It is desktop only, does not record video, is a newer product with few public reviews, and phone screens must run through the computer.
What should you check for privacy and consent?
- CRM notes last longer. A CRM keeps people you did not hire so you can contact them again. Beamery's talent CRM page mentions managing consent campaigns; make sure call notes follow the same retention and consent rules as the profile.
- Keep sensitive details out. Paste what is relevant to the role. Health, family or immigration details mentioned in passing do not belong in a long-lived note.
- Use confidential notes for compensation. Salary expectations and reasons for leaving can be set to confidential to selected users.
- Candidates in Europe. Beamery's case studies include global employers such as Hilti; see our GDPR checklist for recruiters and recording interviews under UK GDPR.
- Notice on recorded calls. Our consent script gives an opening line for any recorder.
This is not legal advice.
What should you test before rollout?
| Check | Pass looks like | Result |
|---|---|---|
| ATS write-back | The note taker's notes appear in your ATS scorecard or candidate record | |
| Beamery summary | A short pasted note sits on the Smart Profile with the right vacancy or pool label | |
| Tags | Everyone uses the agreed activity tags, so reports count screening calls correctly | |
| Visibility | Compensation notes are confidential to the right people | |
| Deletion | A deletion request reaches Beamery, the ATS and the note taker |
A Beamery note format built for rediscovery
[Call type: sourcing / screening / catch-up] – [Date] – [Recruiter]
Vacancy or pool: [label]
What they want next: "[candidate's words]"
Timing: [when they would move, as stated]
Skills evidence: "[quote]" ([skill])
Not right for this role because: [one line, if relevant]
Next touchpoint: [date and reason]
Written this way, the note helps the next recruiter who finds this person in a talent pool next year, which is the point of a CRM.
Who should pick which option?
- Beamery Notes alone: best for sourcing teams whose calls are short and whose interview loop runs in an ATS with its own feedback forms.
- Metaview: best for teams whose ATS it integrates with, adding a pasted summary to Beamery for the CRM view.
- BrightHire: best for enterprise interview loops scored in Workday, SAP SuccessFactors or Greenhouse.
- Interview Signal: best for individual recruiters who want no bot and a quote-backed summary to paste into Beamery and the ATS.
Questions people ask
Does Beamery have a built-in AI notetaker?
No, as of October 2026. Beamery's help center describes machine learning for skills and matching, generative AI for skills intelligence, labor market insights and drafting outreach, and Ray for Sourcing in beta. It lists scheduling interview times and summarizing contacts as possible future agentic tasks, but nothing that records or transcribes calls.
Which AI note takers integrate with Beamery?
None that we could find as of October 2026. Beamery's partner page lists ATS, sourcing, chatbot and services partners such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Greenhouse, SmartRecruiters, GoodTime and HireEZ but no note taker, and Metaview, BrightHire, CoRecruit, Employ's AI Interview Companion and Fireflies do not list Beamery.
Where do screening call notes go in Beamery?
In Notes on the candidate's Smart Profile, which Beamery describes as the place to capture screening or interview information. You can label a note with a vacancy or pool, add activity tags such as Call and Screening, and make it public or confidential to chosen users; Super Admins can see every note.
Should interview notes go in Beamery or in the ATS?
Usually the formal interview feedback belongs in the ATS scorecard, such as Workday Recruiting, SAP SuccessFactors or Greenhouse, which Beamery syncs with, while sourcing and screening conversations belong in Beamery for future rediscovery. Pick a note taker that integrates with your ATS, and paste a short summary into Beamery Notes for the CRM record.
