Avature does not include an AI notetaker as of October 2026, so interview notes reach an Avature record through a third-party notetaker or through Avature's own feedback forms. Metaview and Carv both list Avature integrations on their own sites: Metaview records calls scheduled through Avature, and Carv writes call details into Avature after the call. Avature's own partner list covers video interviewing and assessments rather than notetaking. For an enterprise Avature customer, procurement, data location and who sees the transcript matter as much as the notes themselves.

This page covers what Avature builds in, which notetakers name it, how notes get into a record without an integration, and what an enterprise team should check. We make Interview Signal, one of the tools below; everything about the other products comes from their own sites, linked and dated. For a wider view of tools for corporate recruiting teams, see our best AI notetaker for in-house recruiters.

Who uses Avature, and what does it build in?

Avature is an enterprise talent acquisition and talent management platform. It says it was named a Leader in the 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Talent Acquisition (Recruiting) Suites, for the second year running (press release), and its site has solution pages for high-volume, campus, executive search, agency and RPO recruiting. We found no pricing page on Avature's site as of October 2026.

  • AI: Avature's AI page describes generative AI agents and machine learning built into the platform, a mix of leading large language models and its own fine-tuned models, AI that end users can switch on or off, and annual independent bias audits, including an audit for New York City's automated employment decision tools law.
  • Video interviews: Avature Video Interview is a stand-alone or add-on product for live and on-demand interviews on branded portals, with recordings that managers can review and share for feedback.
  • Scheduling and feedback: Avature's interview scheduling page says it collects manager feedback through Form Completion Requests, can schedule the next interview automatically based on that feedback, and sends interview outcomes and feedback back into the candidate record.

None of these pages describe transcribing a live interview and drafting notes from it. Avature Video Interview records; it does not, on its public page, summarize.

Which AI notetakers list an Avature integration?

Avature's own partner page lists technology and consulting partners, including HireVue (video interviewing, conversational AI, assessments and scheduling), Spark Hire, Sapia, Cammio, Zoom and Twilio. We did not find an AI meeting notetaker among them as of October 2026. Two notetakers list Avature on their own sites:

  • Metaview: its Avature integration page says Metaview automatically records, transcribes and summarizes calls scheduled through Avature, and lets you decide which interviews to capture. We did not find an Avature setup article in Metaview's help center, so ask how the connection is authorized.
  • Carv: its integrations page says an API integration populates Avature with relevant call details the moment a call ends. Carv now presents itself as an AI agent platform for volume hiring and publishes no prices; see our Carv review.

Because Avature is heavily configured per customer, "integrates with Avature" can mean different objects and fields at two companies. Ask each vendor which Avature record and field the note lands in for a customer configured like yours.

How do the Avature options compare?

As published on each vendor's own pages, as of October 2026. "Not stated" means the linked pages do not say.

Metaview for Avature customers

Metaview's Avature page also answers the questions an enterprise security review asks first. As of October 2026 it says Metaview is SOC 2 Type II certified, that data is hosted in the AWS UK environment, that the default retention period is two years but can be matched to your policy, that candidates are told about Metaview through touchpoints you configure and can opt out of recording with one click, and that it supports more than 50 languages. If your company requires US or EU hosting, ask before the pilot, not after.

Carv for Avature customers

Carv's page describes the outcome, call details written to Avature after the call, but not how Carv captures the conversation or whether a participant joins video calls. Its home page now leads with AI agents for volume hiring: screening, scheduling, onboarding and admin. That suits large hourly or seasonal programs more than a corporate recruiter who wants interview notes, and the setup is consultative.

How do interview notes get into Avature without an integration?

Avature's how-to documentation is behind its customer login, so we cannot link step-by-step articles. The public description of its scheduling module gives the route most teams use: interviewers receive a feedback request, complete the form, and the outcome flows back to the candidate record. A notetaker that produces a structured summary fits into that form well:

  1. Ask your Avature admin which form and field takes free-text interview notes, and whether it is visible to the hiring manager, the recruiter or both.
  2. Paste the evidence, not the transcript. A short summary with the candidate's own words under each competency is easier to review than a transcript, and keeps less personal data in the record.
  3. Type the rating yourself. Keep the score a human decision; the AI text supports it.
  4. Keep the original where your policy says, with a retention period, so you can answer a candidate access request.

Our guide to getting AI notes into an ATS without an integration covers email, Zapier and API routes as well.

What should an Avature customer check for privacy and consent?

  • Where the transcript lives. A notetaker creates a second store of candidate data outside Avature. Ask for hosting region, retention and subprocessors; Metaview publishes its defaults, Carv's integrations page does not.
  • Consent flow. Avature controls candidate communications. Decide whether the recording notice goes in the interview invitation, at the start of the call, or both, and use one consent line.
  • Automated decision rules. Avature says it audits its own AI for New York City's law. A notetaker is a separate tool; our page on Local Law 144 and AI notetakers explains when a notes tool could come into scope. This is not legal advice.
  • Deletion. When a candidate is anonymized in Avature, the notetaker's recording and transcript must be deleted too. Test it.

Which option fits which Avature team?

  • Metaview: best for corporate teams running scheduled video loops in Avature that want automatic capture and can accept UK hosting or negotiate another region.
  • Carv: best for high-volume hiring programs that want AI agents for screening and scheduling, with call details written to Avature.
  • Avature Video Interview: best when you need recorded live or one-way interviews to share, not drafted notes.
  • Feedback forms plus a standalone notetaker: best for teams whose security review will not approve another integration, or where a bot in the meeting is unwelcome.

Interview Signal fits that last route and has no Avature integration. It is a desktop app for Windows and macOS with no bot, for the person running the interview: it captures the interviewer's own computer audio, fills a scorecard as the interview goes, and attaches the candidate's quotes to each score, checked against the transcript. Transcripts stay on the interviewer's computer, and you paste the scorecard into the Avature feedback form; its ready-made note formats are for Bullhorn, Greenhouse, Lever and JobAdder only. It is desktop only, newer with few public reviews, and does not record video. Questions people ask

Does Avature have a built-in AI notetaker?

Not on its public pages as of October 2026. Avature describes built-in AI agents, matching and writing help, a video interview product for live and on-demand interviews, and native interview scheduling that collects manager feedback, but none of those pages describe transcribing and summarizing a recruiter's or interviewer's call into notes.

Which AI notetakers integrate with Avature?

Metaview and Carv both list Avature on their own integration pages as of October 2026. Metaview says it automatically records, transcribes and summarizes calls scheduled through Avature, and Carv says its API integration populates Avature with call details when a call ends. Avature's own partner page lists video interviewing and assessment partners such as HireVue, Spark Hire and Zoom, but no AI meeting notetaker.

How do interview notes get into Avature without an integration?

Usually through Avature's own feedback forms. Avature's interview scheduling page says it collects manager feedback with Form Completion Requests and that interview outcomes and feedback flow back into the candidate record. Interviewers can paste a structured AI summary into that form. Avature's how-to articles are customer-only, so confirm the form and field with your Avature admin.

Where does Metaview store interview data for Avature customers?

Metaview's Avature integration page says, as of October 2026, that data is hosted in the AWS UK environment, that the default retention period is two years and can be matched to your company's policy, and that Metaview is SOC 2 Type II certified. Ask whether a different hosting region is available if your policy requires one.
