Eploy, the in-house applicant tracking system from The Access Group, has no built-in AI notetaker as of October 2026. Its Zoom and Microsoft Teams apps add meeting links to interview Actions, and the Zoom app lets you view recordings inside Eploy, but nothing transcribes or summarizes the conversation. Metaview is the notetaker that documents an Eploy integration, posting notes to Eploy with one click through a Kombo connection, and Eploy's own marketplace lists Evidenced, a structured interviewing platform with real-time transcripts.

This page covers only what works with Eploy: what Eploy does around interviews, which partners connect, the API question, how to keep notes by hand, and the UK GDPR checks. We make Interview Signal, one of the tools below; everything about the other products comes from their own sites, linked and dated. For in-house teams comparing tools more widely, see our guide for in-house recruiters.

What is Eploy, and who uses it?

Eploy is a recruitment platform for in-house talent acquisition teams, combining an ATS, recruitment CRM, onboarding and analytics, with marketplace partners for UK right-to-work and background checks. Its footer reads "© 2026 The Access Group". Eploy does not publish prices; its quote page lists unlimited users, vacancies and candidates, and API and integrations with your HCM and other tech, among the things included as standard.

Does Eploy have its own AI notetaker?

No. What Eploy's help center describes, as of October 2026:

  • ChatGPT: the ChatGPT integration drafts job descriptions and emails and can suggest up to 10 interview questions. It needs your own OpenAI or Microsoft Entra account with billing enabled, and users need the "AI Prompts" permission.
  • Audio and video interviews: recorded answers that candidates submit on their own, up to 10 minutes each. It is a premium feature charged per application, and the article does not mention transcription.
  • Structured Reviews: the interview training article (May 21, 2026) covers upcoming interviews, uploading documents collected at interview, and completing a Structured Review, "especially useful for Panel Interviews".

How do Eploy's Zoom and Teams apps handle live interviews?

Interviews are Action records. Eploy's Actions and Slots article says the Organiser field decides "whose Zoom or Teams account the interview will be linked with", and a button replaces the Location with a Teams or Zoom link. The Eploy App for Zoom also lets you view recordings from within Eploy. The Teams integration creates and schedules meetings only. A recording is useful evidence, but someone still has to watch it to write notes.

Which AI notetakers list an Eploy integration?

Metaview

Metaview has an Eploy integration page and a setup guide. Per the guide, as of October 2026:

  • Connection: authorized through Kombo, which Metaview names as a subprocessor; sync can take up to 48 hours.
  • API: "API access is a paid Eploy add-on" with daily request caps from 1,000 to 50,000 depending on your Eploy tier.
  • Notes: post Metaview notes to Eploy with one click; links to notes are added automatically.
  • Scheduling: not through Eploy, because Eploy "does not support an interviews model through the integration". Calls are matched from your calendar, and the meeting type must be Job interview or Debrief.

Metaview captures video calls with a notetaker and phone calls through a registered number or browser calling, and its published pricing is a free tier of 25 calls a month and Pro at $60 per user per month (pricing).

Evidenced

Eploy's marketplace lists Evidenced, which it says assesses every candidate against the same standards and needs an Eploy API subscription. Evidenced's own site describes structured interviews with a real-time transcript, interview guidance and automatic evidence capture, and its pricing page says packages start at $399 a month. Neither page says how live interviews are captured, so ask in a demo.

AI screeners

Classet, not in Eploy's marketplace, says on its Eploy page that its AI voice agent screens applicants and writes a structured summary into the candidate's notes in Eploy, with ATS Sync from $1,995 a month. That replaces a screen; it does not document your interviews.

How do the Eploy options compare?

How do you keep AI interview notes in Eploy without an integration?

  1. Open the interview from your list of upcoming interviews.
  2. Complete the Structured Review yourself, using your own judgment for ratings; AI notes are evidence, not the score.
  3. Upload the AI-drafted scorecard as a document collected at interview, as Eploy's training article describes.
  4. Keep the transcript out of Eploy unless your retention policy covers it.

A document that panel members can scan in a minute works better than a pasted transcript. One format:

[Vacancy] - [Stage] - [Date] - [Interviewer]
Overall: [your own rating, as entered in the Structured Review]

Evidence by criterion:
- [Criterion]: "[candidate's words]"
- [Criterion]: "[candidate's words]"

Not covered in this interview: [ ]
Follow-up for the next stage: [ ]
Candidate told about recording: [Yes, at start]

Our interview scorecard template covers the criteria, and getting AI notes into an ATS without an integration covers other routes.

  • Lawful basis and notice. UK GDPR needs a lawful basis for recording and transcribing, and the ICO's guidance on the right to be informed covers what candidates must be told (checked October 2026). Our guide to recording interviews under UK GDPR has notice wording. This is not legal advice.
  • Retention. Eploy's Auto-Delete Records rules (April 29, 2026) can delete Actions, Call Logs, Notes and Files after a period you define, and each rule needs two users to authorize it. A notetaker's cloud copy needs a matching rule.
  • Subprocessors. Metaview's Eploy connection runs through Kombo; add it to your records of processing.
  • Hiring managers. A bot joining a manager's Teams call is visible, while desktop capture shows nothing; either way, agree who reads the consent line at the start.

Which option fits which Eploy team?

  • Zoom recordings in Eploy: best for teams that only need a record of what was said, not notes.
  • Metaview: best for in-house teams with frequent video interviews that have, or will buy, Eploy API access.
  • Evidenced: best for organizations focused on consistent structured scoring across many hiring managers.
  • A standalone tool and upload: best for teams that cannot add an API integration or a bot.

Interview Signal sits in the last group: it has no Eploy integration. It is a desktop app for Windows and macOS with no bot, so phone screens taken through the computer and Teams or Zoom interviews are captured the same way, and it produces a scorecard with the candidate's own quotes, with transcripts kept on the interviewer's computer. Its ready-made ATS note formats are for Bullhorn, Greenhouse, Lever and JobAdder only, so in Eploy you upload a Word export or paste the plain version. It is desktop only, newer with few public reviews, and does not record video.

Questions people ask

Does Eploy have a built-in AI notetaker?

No, as of October 2026. Eploy's help center describes a ChatGPT integration for job descriptions, emails and interview questions, recorded audio and video answers that candidates submit, and Zoom and Teams apps that add meeting links to interviews, with Zoom recordings viewable in Eploy. None of these transcribes or summarizes a live interview.

Which AI notetaker integrates with Eploy?

Metaview documents an Eploy integration in its help center. It connects through Kombo, matches calls to Eploy records, adds links to its notes and posts notes to Eploy with one click, but it cannot schedule interviews from Eploy because Eploy does not expose an interviews model through the integration, as of October 2026.

Do I need Eploy's API to connect an AI notetaker?

Usually. Metaview's Eploy guide says API access is a paid Eploy add-on with daily request caps between 1,000 and 50,000 depending on tier, and Eploy's Evidenced listing says it needs an Eploy API subscription. Eploy's quote page lists API and integrations among standard items, so confirm your entitlement with your Eploy account manager.

How do I keep AI interview notes in Eploy without an integration?

Eploy's interview training article says interviewers can upload documents collected at interview and complete a Structured Review, which suits panel interviews. Upload the AI-drafted scorecard as a document on the interview and enter your own ratings in the Structured Review, then let Eploy's auto-delete rules handle retention.
