TempWorks does not have its own AI notetaker as of October 2026. Its SystemIQ AI writes job descriptions, client-ready talent summaries and candidate-specific interview questions, but none of TempWorks' pages describe recording or transcribing a recruiter's calls. AI call notes reach a TempWorks record through partners in its integration directory, mainly the Ringover phone system, which logs calls and syncs AI call summaries, or by pasting a summary into a message on the employee record.

This page covers only what works with TempWorks: what it builds in, which partners write into it, exactly how messages and attachments work if you paste, and what to test. We make Interview Signal, one of the tools below; everything about the other products comes from their own sites, linked and dated. For the wider market across staffing systems, see our guide to AI notetakers for staffing agencies.

What is TempWorks, and who uses it?

TempWorks sells staffing software for recruiting and staffing companies: an applicant tracking system it calls the Recruitment Experience, a CRM, onboarding, time management, and payroll and billing, plus payroll funding and tax services. Its knowledge base documents two applications, Enterprise and Beyond, and the steps for logging notes differ between them. TempWorks does not publish prices on the pages we checked. Its customers are staffing firms, and staffing desks do much of their screening by phone, which shapes which tools are worth adding.

Does TempWorks have its own AI notetaker?

No. TempWorks' AI is SystemIQ, which it describes as an integrated AI and automation system built into Beyond. As of October 2026 the page lists four uses:

  • Write Job Descriptions for postings.
  • Enhance Talent Communications with more personalized contact.
  • Summarize Talent for Clients, presenting a candidate to a customer.
  • Create Candidate-Specific Interview Questions from candidate and job data.

Prompts can be customized. SystemIQ helps before the call (questions) and after it (a client summary), but it works from what is already in TempWorks. Nothing on the page says it listens to the conversation, so a summary for a client is only as good as the notes a recruiter typed.

Which AI tools write into TempWorks?

TempWorks' integration partners page groups partners by category. There is no notetaker category; the closest is "Automated Voice & Text", which lists Sense, Text-Em-All, Text Us, Whippy and Ringover. We also checked the integration directories of Metaview and CoRecruit in October 2026, and neither listed TempWorks.

Ringover: phone calls with AI summaries

Ringover is a cloud phone system. Its TempWorks integration page describes one-click calling from TempWorks, two-way syncing of candidate details, and automatic logging of "texts, calls, timestamps, recordings, and notes in TempWorks". It says Ringover's AI transcribes and analyzes conversations and that call summaries are synced into TempWorks. TempWorks' own Ringover listing says conversation insights are linked to TempWorks. Neither page names the Ringover plan that includes the AI features or says which TempWorks application the summaries land in, so ask for a demonstration on a Beyond test record.

Whippy: an AI recruiter, not a notetaker

Whippy is listed for text, voice and chatbot communication. In a TempWorks customer case study, Whippy's AI recruiter screens applicants with preset questions, and the candidate score, screening transcript, updated interest codes and qualification notes are added into TempWorks. That gives you a record of an AI-led screen. It does not capture the calls your recruiters make themselves.

Meeting notetakers without a TempWorks link

General meeting notetakers still work alongside TempWorks; they just do not write to it. Metaview, for example, joins video calls and captures phone calls through a registered number or browser calling, according to its phone calls guide, but its integrations directory does not list TempWorks, so the notes have to be pasted.

How do the TempWorks options compare?

As published on each vendor's own pages, as of October 2026. "Not stated" means the linked pages do not say.

How do you get AI notes into TempWorks without an integration?

As a message on the record. TempWorks' Beyond message logging article (last modified September 18, 2025) gives the steps:

  1. Open the record (Employee, Customer, Contact, Order, Assignment or Prospect) and go to the Visifile card or the Messages tab.
  2. Select + to add a message and paste the summary into the message text.
  3. Choose an Action code. The default is usually "Message"; your admin manages codes, and a specific code makes reporting and searching work.
  4. Link related records with +, such as the order the screen was for.
  5. Attach the full write-up with "Upload New Document" or "Attach Existing Document", then select Submit.

Three limits matter for AI output. Beyond messages can be up to 7,000 characters, with up to five documents of 26 MB each. Messages cannot be deleted once saved or edited. And TempWorks' Enterprise message logging tips (last modified February 26, 2025) say to keep message details under 1,000 characters to avoid an error, and suggest action codes such as "Interview" and "Pre-screened". A full AI transcript or long scorecard will not fit in an Enterprise message, so paste a short summary and attach the rest. Our guide to getting AI notes into an ATS without an integration compares pasting with email and API routes.

  • What you paste is permanent. Because Beyond messages cannot be deleted, keep transcripts and sensitive details out of messages. Paste the summary, and decide where the full transcript lives and for how long.
  • Notice on every call. A phone system or desktop recorder shows the candidate nothing, so the notice comes from the recruiter. Use one consent line on every call.
  • Calls across state lines. Staffing desks call candidates in many states, and some states require every party's consent; see recording calls across state lines.
  • AI screening rules. An AI recruiter that scores applicants may fall under state and local AI-in-hiring rules; see AI hiring laws by state.
  • Recording retention. Ask Ringover or any partner how long recordings are kept by default and how to delete one candidate's calls on request.

Kept this short, it stays well under the Enterprise limit. Our screen-to-submittal workflow covers what happens next.

Which option fits which TempWorks desk?

  • SystemIQ: best for desks that already type good notes and want questions and client summaries drafted from them.
  • Ringover: best for phone-first desks willing to place every call through one system.
  • Whippy: best for high-volume desks that want an AI to run the first screen, not to document recruiter calls.
  • A standalone notetaker and paste: best for small desks and recruiters whose firm will not add another integration.

Interview Signal sits in the last group: it has no TempWorks integration. It is a desktop app for Windows and macOS with no bot, so phone screens taken through the computer and video calls are captured the same way, and it produces a scorecard with the candidate's own quotes and a submittal in your agency's template, with transcripts kept on the recruiter's computer. Its ready-made ATS note formats are for Bullhorn, Greenhouse, Lever and JobAdder only, so in TempWorks you paste the plain or Markdown version as a message and attach the rest. It is desktop only, newer with few public reviews, and does not record video.

Questions people ask

Does TempWorks have a built-in AI notetaker?

No, based on TempWorks' own pages as of October 2026. Its SystemIQ AI, built into TempWorks Beyond, writes job descriptions, client-ready talent summaries and candidate-specific interview questions, but TempWorks does not describe any feature that records or transcribes a recruiter's phone or video call.

Which phone system writes AI call summaries into TempWorks?

Ringover. TempWorks lists Ringover in its integration directory, and Ringover's TempWorks page says it logs texts, calls, timestamps, recordings and notes in TempWorks and syncs AI call summaries into it, as of October 2026. Calls have to be placed through Ringover to be captured.

How long can a pasted interview note be in TempWorks?

TempWorks' knowledge base says a message in Beyond can be up to 7,000 characters with up to five attached documents of 26 MB each, while the Enterprise article says to keep message details under 1,000 characters to avoid an error. Paste a short summary as the message and attach the full scorecard as a document.

Can I delete an AI note after posting it to TempWorks Beyond?

Not according to TempWorks' Beyond message logging article, which says messages cannot be deleted once saved or edited; users with permission can only edit them. Check AI-drafted notes for errors and sensitive details before you select Submit.
